We were in Lake Charles for 1 day, had very very good stay, the hotel was fairly clean with quiet and nice location close to the store. Location: the venue was close enough to downtown, mixed commercial and residential, about 10 minutes away from the casino area, the interstate & eating places and liquor stores and boarded buildings. It was a 10-15 minute walk from Ball's Fried Chick-N, serving fast food.

The bed was nice and comfortable. The room was big.
I didn't like the fact that they jumped the gun on charging my card when I paid cash. Should've asked first, now there's a hold on my account for the hotel amount and I paid in cash. Didn't like the smell of the room.

The staff was very polite and helpful. the location was perfect, within walking distance of Lake Charles Children's Museum. - It was conveniently close to casinos, restaurants, and the interstate.

The freebreeze they used in the room was very strong had to turn down the AC to be comfortable.

King bed was soft and comfortable.
Parking lot was noisy on a Monday morning at 5:00am. Too much noise from other guest diesel truck engines running that early in the morning. Apparently, lots of construction contractors stay there during the week and have to get up in the early morning. I wouldn't recommend staying there for leisure. Wish rooms had double pane Windows to block out the noise.
